The Winter Solstice Dance is a space where we offer our dancing prayers and intentions at this time of darkness before the light returns.

 

SPACE to dance / SPACE to play / SPACE for connection / SPACE for mystery / SPACE to re-connect to the simplicity of body, breath & movement.

​

A conscious dance class weaving the medicine of 5 Rhythms dance, movement medicine, ecstatic dance, embodied awakening and open floor. Music is the guide and Dance is the meditation. 

​

Music: eclectic deep sounds, from immersive to soulful, electronic to organic and ancient to future.

Winter Solstice Dance is a collaborative offering from Jo and Emma, two internationally-renowned movement teacher-facilitators and DJ's with decades of experience of holding dance spaces.. We will offer some minimal facilitation to enable maximum immersion, fantastic music and a simple ritual container for 3 hours of midwinter dancing.  All dancing bodies welcome.
